Gifts & Graces Fair Trade Foundation - Behind the Scenes Production - Tahanang Walang Hagdanan, Inc || Caloocan, Metro Manila, Philippines
Another one of the places we visited with Gifts & Graces Fair Trade Foundation was Tahanang Walang Hagdanan, located in Cainta, Rizal, just on the outskirts of Metro Manila to the east.
Tahanang's mission is this:
Strengthen the social enterprise thru viable economic activities without compromising the core thrust of empowering persons with disability and care for the environment.
And they do just that! The products they make are incredible! From woodworking, metalwork and sewing, they are able to give so many with disabilities a great job! There are residences on the 4 hectare site as well as a state-of-the-art vegetable plantation livelihood. Gifts & Graces Fair Trade gets lots of their wooden toys from Tahanang to sell in their gift shop.
