GROW International Ministries || Floodway, Taytay, Rizal, Philippines
PFAC founder, Tracey Heppner, headed out right after Christmas to Floodway, in Taytay, Rizal to lend a hand and document an amazing day by GROW International.
A medical team of more than 30 came from Edmonton, Canada and partnered with GROW to do a massive medical outreach.
Floodway area is where Robby & Deanna Nichols, associate missionaries of GROW International, will be setting up one of the many private schools for kids less fortunate to acquire education. The kids and families in this area are plentiful and they are working with a local church in the area to sift through applications for students for the upcoming school year starting in June.
The medical part of the day - they were committed to seeing 1500 patients. They met in the courtyard of the area and it was awesome to see all the stations there - triage, eye check ups, basic nurse check ups, dental work, food packages, clothes and an area to share the Gospel.
This is the future site of the new school that the Nichols' will be starting in June. They fed over 350 kids lunch thanks to Jollibee!
